I2 Telecom International Inc. announced that it has executed an agreement with Virenta, LLC to market and expand the channel network of the award winning MyGlobalTalk(TM) mobile VoIP platform to their strategic partners and corresponding global customer base. MyGlobalTalk(TM) enables very low cost international phone calls from any mobile phone that downloads the MyGlobalTalk(TM) software.

I2 Telecom International Inc. announced the release of Beta Version 2.0 of its MyGlobalTalk(TM) service. MyGlobalTalk(TM), i2Telecom´s internally developed patent pending technology, is a new and advanced mobile VoIP application that targets the wireless handset market. MyGlobalTalk(TM) places Internet telephony in the hands of every cellular phone user, independent of wireless carrier technology, handset manufacturer, or the type of wireless carrier voice/data plan involved. The objective is to enable mobile users to access low-cost Internet telephony communications in a completely untethered manner via their MyGlobalTalk(TM) enabled cellular phones. Once MyGlobalTalk(TM) software is installed on cellular handsets, users are able to call any telephone in the world directly from their cellular phones, using VoIP technology, at a fraction of normal long-distance rates. In addition, MyGlobalTalk(TM) is fully functional without local access to the Internet or proximity to an Internet hotspot. Users also need not wait for the availability of dual-mode WiFi phones, because MyGlobalTalk(TM) provides the benefits of a dual-mode phone at a fraction of the cost using the customer´s existing mobile handset.

I2 Telecom International Inc. announced that Andy Berman has been appointed to its board of directors, increasing the number of board members to five. With over 26 years of industry experience, Mr. Berman has been involved in nearly all sectors of the technology and telecommunications industries and was instrumental in revolutionizing global Internet connectivity in the early 1990s. He has extensive experience in the disciplines of strategic alliance planning and business development, as well as sales and marketing, product development and distribution. Mr. Berman, age 49, is the founder and owner of Chesapeake Ventures, LP. Mr. Berman was President and Chief Executive Officer for Nextlink USA Inc., AB, from May 2006 to February 2007, at which time he was elected to their Board of Directors. He served as Vice President, Strategic Alliances and Business Development, at RadioShack from July 2003 through April 2006, where he successfully delivered emerging technologies and new products/services to distribution channels and brought many licensing and investment opportunities to the company. Mr. Berman, as a Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for CipherOptics from January 2002 through June 2003, successfully negotiated strategic relationships with SafeNet, CNT, IBM, EMC, Storage Technology, and Hitachi Data Systems.
